Weapons consume ammunition and the more advanced their payload or fire mode, the more ammunition they need. Ammunition Production and ConsumptionĮvery fortress is supplied with a set Ammunition Production rate, which can be increased with Munition Depots and more soldiers working there. Repaired equipment may seem like new but you can always tell by the cracks in the walls that irreparable structural damage has been inflicted. This damage is applied only the first time the target is destroyed. When you destroy a target, whether it is a weapon or a utility room, the enemy fortress loses a significant portion of its structural integrity.ġ00 hitpoints down for each destroyed slot. Energy weapons won’t damage the structural integrity at all, while steady mortar bombardment can gradually bring a fortress down, even if the enemy manages to keep all their equipment in working order. This is indicated by the screen shake after a successful hit. Some guns are more effective at causing structural damage than others.

The enemy may heal its soldiers and repair its damaged weaponry back to working condition but when the fortress hitpoints reach zero, the battle is over.

Leave a comment if this guide helped or if you have some tips you'd like to add.During battle, select the Name and Stats Tab for more detailed info. Some other maps have path glitches but this is the biggest one I noticed. If you don't put build modules in certain places near the bottom the enemy will take a much longer route, saving you modules. This guide is short and has some great tips in it. It opens index.html, which is located at ".\Steam\steamapps\common\RadiantDefense\res\help\index.html"

#RADIANT DEFENSE GUIDE UPGRADE#
The final upgrade seems to do double the damage of previous upgrades. It's better to upgrade a tower than to build another of the same nearby. It's better to start the wave and *then* upgrade towers, that way if it doesn't work out you get all of your money back and can try different tower changes. Don't upgrade towers before a wave because if you redo the wave you can't change your mind about what towers you upgraded.Sometimes it takes just a few blocks to merge two paths, other times you need to make the second portal route so long that they both follow the other route. Try to build your maze in such a way that all aliens follow the same path and pass by towers multiple times. You also get $5,000 Flawless Bonus at the end of each wave, as long as your Spiral Lives are still at max. The largest part of your score comes from the score bonus based on how much money you have at the end of each wave. It's okay to fail a wave, the game will put you back at the beginning of that wave with everything the same as before. This works up until you press the button to start the next wave. You can retry the previous wave, even after it is completed. After any wave you can press Esc then Quit and the game will save your progress for later.(Towers tend to wander and will sometimes be in a better position as the enemies come by.) Pressing Esc and then "Retry Wave" produces different results the second time.To put modules/towers under the tower selection bar (at the bottom of the screen) left click one square above the bottom and then drag the mouse down.
